Yes, yes, YES. The deliberate articulation, the control, the character work, the costuming, all brilliant. Lots of ideas for cheststand variations in here as well, and also transitions. She’s fascinatingly side-bendy, something that makes my obliques wince (like when I transition cheststand to donut), and you can practically see her back muscles working.
I also love the trope of beginning on stage in a coat and throwing it off as a signal that it is now time to work. I see a lot of it in circus, and it consistently impresses me as a strong choice and indication to the audience that the performer is Not Fucking Around.
